A Stock Exchange is a Party that provides and implements the system and/or medium to facilitate dealings and offerings of Securities by and for parties who deal in Securities trading.
A Stock Exchange is established to provide and implement the system and medium for exchange of Securities. With sound medium and system, members of a Stock Excange can make offerings of Securities trading in an organized, reasonable, and efficient manner.
In addition, the presence of such system and medium enables the Stock Exchange to oversee its members more effectively.
Currently, the function of Stock Exchange is performed by PT. Bursa Efek Indonesia (PT. BEI).
